Lovense Dolce Review: Better than the Lush 3? (Previously Quake)

First of all, big thanks to Lovense for sending me their brand new Dolce Bluetooth Adjustable Dual Vibrator to review!

(Update: When released, this product was named Quake but it changed shortly after. The images featured in this post refer to the Quake, which is now known as the Lovense Dolce. And just to confirm, yes, it is the exact same product.

To be frank, I already own half a dozen Lovense toys, and all of them are well-made and so sexually arousing to use. I had such high hopes for their Dolce and… I was not disappointed!

The Dolce’s best feature is that I could adjust it however I wanted. I flexed it a great deal and was always pleased by how I make it reach and stimulate my G-spot and my clit simultaneously. I couldn’t do this with other sex toys with such intensity. Even some I bought from Lovense!

What is the Lovense Dolce?

The Dolce is a U-shaped sex toy with a bigger end for going inside a vagina and vibrating against a person’s G-spot. The other end is longer and thinner and is for use on a clit. The controls are also built into the smaller part for easy access and so they don’t get wet.

It’s covered in non-reactive bright pink silicone and is pleasantly smooth to use. On the G-spot end is a small, rippled area to help how it stimulates, textured for pleasuring the clit.

Like a lot of other products from Lovense, it doesn’t look at all like how you’d think a sex toy would. You could leave it out, and people would almost not realize that’s what it is!

However, the controls on the bigger end of the Dolce are the same color and as the toy and tend to blend in. A couple of times, I had to turn the lights on to see which button was which.

After a few hours with the Dolce, I learned to tell them apart by touch, so I guess it’s not a big deal. But the Dolce is much easier to control with the Lovense Remote app, so I used it most of the time.

The Dolce’s middle part is extremely bendy. But the booklet that comes with it says you shouldn’t straighten it out all the way as this will break the Dolce, so I didn’t.

When I used it, I felt right away it was an entertaining toy. Before the Dolce, the ones I played with were sometimes frustrating, and a lot of times I had to struggle to keep them in place.

Toys built to vibrate on two different spots on a person’s body like Lovense’s Lush 3 were extra tricky, so I was happy by how bendy the Dolce was. I could comfortably position the G-spot for the first time and not need to move it to put the other end on my clit.

The two vibrating parts together also let me have extra-good separate orgasms and a combined one on more than one occasion. The Lovense Dolce is now my favorite sex toy to use by myself or with a partner.

It was also fantastic as bending or rotating the Dolce let me ease up how much the clit end vibrated against me if it got too intense. Or, if I wanted, I was free to adjust it to make more contact when I wanted additional stimulation.

Why the Lovense Dolce is So Fun to Play With…

The Dolce has two motors, one built into each end. Both have eight different vibrations you can select with the sex toy’s controls. That way, you can adjust one or the other however you’d like. It’s easier with the Lovense Remote smartphone app, so I think you should try to use the app as often as possible.

Installing the Lovense Remote app on my phone wasn’t hard at all, and connecting it to my Lovense Dolce was even easier. All I had to do to connect my Dolce with the app was push on the plus (+) sign at the top of the app and then “Add Toy,” and it was all set to use.

The app has a pink and blue circle that controls the motors. If I moved either up or down, the vibrator at either end of the Dolce responded.

Playing with the app, I quickly made the motors repeat their vibrations endlessly in a loop or for only a moment. If I logged onto Lovense from within the app, I could save any patterns I made. This part of the app also lets me see what other people had created, and if I liked it, I could download it and use it as much as I wanted.

Playing with the music part of the app was also lots of fun. I only had to pick a song, and it immediately began playing while the Dolce vibrated right along with it!

I got a friend to help me try out the Lovense Remote Long Distance feature. To set it up, you need to log on to Lovense and then look for your partner’s username.

If they don’t have one, they’ll need to sign up first. When they do, it’s easy to connect with them to let you control their Lovense sex toy, or they can do the same with any of yours.

After playing around with this feature and enjoying every minute of it, we decided to make it a regular thing. I checked with a few friends and partners who I used to play with but now live too far away, and all of them said this sounded fun as well.

I can’t wait to see what games we can all come up with. I told everyone to get a Lovense toy as soon as they could so we can get started!

How to Use the Lovense Dolce?

The top button on the Dolce switches the G-spot part of the Dolce on or off and lets you pick any of its pre-equipped vibrations.

The bottom controls the clit-part of the Dolce and can also go through its built-in settings. You can use both motors together or apart, as you can when you control them with the Lovense Remote.

I was too harsh complaining the Dolce’s buttons are the same color. I got used to them after a while, which helped a great deal as each button is differently textured, making it easier to tell them apart once you’re familiar with your new toy.

The Lovense Remote is still better for operating the Dolce. There are more things you can do with it, and it’s less awkward to use than getting used to the sex toy’s built-in buttons.

If you don’t have a smartphone, Lovense has an Apple or PC desktop computer version that works just as well.

About the Lovense Dolce’s Measurements

The toy is close to seven inches from one end to the other. The clit stimulating end is one inch high and is an inch and a quarter wide. The G-spot part is an inch and a half all the way around.

The Dolce is very light, so you can put it in a bag and carry it around with no problem. The booklet says it is 146 grams, but it feels lighter than that.

How to Charge the Lovense Dolce

The sex toy comes with a pretty short power cable that connects to a USB charger and the Dolce. I didn’t have any trouble using a spare, longer Apple one I had lying around.

The way the cable magnetically attaches to the Dolce is very well-built and stayed connected to the cable even if I accidentally moved it. You shouldn’t do this too much as it can detach, but you don’t have to be excessively gentle with it.

The Dolce took me seventy minutes to charge, a little over an hour. When it was done charging, I used it nonstop for two hours. That’s impressive and more than enough time for anyone to enjoy playing with it. If you don’t want to use it immediately, the Dolce will stay charged for up to 240 hours!

Cleaning and Caring for the Lovense Dolce

All of my Lovense sex toys aren’t difficult to clean. You can order a special solution to do it, but most of the time, I use warm tap water with a pump of mild anti-bacterial soap.

You’ve got to use a lint-free cloth to dry the Dolce because the silicone skin attracts dust, lint, and things like cat hair. The Dolce comes with a high-quality storage bag you should use as it’ll keep it clean until you’re ready to use it.

This Lovense sex toy is packaged with a bag to keep it in, a magnetic cable for charging it, a Quick Start Guide, and a more-detailed User Manual.

Both booklets are very informative and answer any questions about using or caring for your Dolce.

The Lovesense Dolce’s box is sturdy and pleasant-looking. It’s the same for all the Lovense sex toys I have, so I keep them in their original packaging and inside their provided bags most of the time.

Lovense Dolce vs. Lush 3: Which One is the Winner?

Both are popular, innovative sex toys known for their smart features and great designs.

In the end, picking the winner really comes down to whether you’re looking for a dual vibrator (Dolce) or a wearable G-spot vibrator (Lush), as the key difference resides in the external arm/antenna having it’s own motor or not.

Lovense Dolce Review: The Verdict

Of all the sex toys I have, the ones I use the most are from Lovense. This is why I knew their Dolce would be as pleasurable as the others I’ve grown to love. But I didn’t realize it would very quickly become my all-time favorite Lovense sex toy.

The Dolce is a finely-made product with so many excellent features to rave about. Lovense making it adjustable is what I want to compliment them the most about. Using the Dolce, I made slight adjustments like pulling the clit vibrating end away from me when it got too intense or making it more by applying a little force to it.

Best of all, you can shape the Dolce to fit the contours of your body. I often battle with toys that say they’re supposed to be comfortable when they aren’t.

The Dolce does this very well, and I was always relaxed when playing with it and could concentrate on how good it felt and not feel distracted by trying to hold it in place.

Lovense has outdone themselves with the Dolce, and I recommend you buy one and try it out for yourself. I think you’ll get lots of pleasure from playing with it and maybe think of it as your new favorite sex toy like I do!
