Because I find them too much for me to handle, or sometimes not enough, I don’t have many clit toys. So I usually use my fingers and then something like a penetrative toy.
But I’ve changed my mind after getting the new Hyphy Dual-End High-Frequency Vibrator from Lovense as it is the best clit-stimulating toy I have ever used, and it also works wonders for G-spot arousal.

What the Hyphy looks like
The Hyphy is sort of banana-shaped, with one insertable end for G-spot play with the other narrowing to a small, round point for use on a clit.
On the top are the buttons for speeding up or slowing down the vibrations and selecting which of the four pre-set vibrations types you want to use. As the Hyphy has a motor for each end, I found it very powerful in all the right ways.
This is why I enjoyed it and why I haven’t liked other clit toys as I could easily change its frequencies—and when I wanted more powerful or less, it was easy to adjust. It also has two little extra tips for the clit part, and one of them is like a tongue, and when I put it on and turned the clit-part of the Hyphy on, it felt very much like a speedy tongue.
The other extra tip is a bit like a small fork, and according to the Lovense website, it’s for nipple play. I tried it and liked it a great deal because I could fit it around one of mine or use it directly and found it very arousing and stimulating.
The Hyphy comes in a curved case with a clear lid to keep it in and store the two extra tips. You can also charge it, which it’s in the issue, using the magnetic cable the toy comes with. I like this feature because it keeps the Hyphy nice and clean and keeps the charging cable from getting knocked loose.
Hyphy’s main features
Lovense’s Hyphy is very comfortable to hold. I never felt awkward while using it, and when I was using either end, I didn’t have any problems getting it into a position where it felt the best.
It comes with three power levels for the clit-stimulating part and the G-spot one. And it has four unique patterns built into it, which I liked as it felt like Lovense knew what they were doing when they programmed them.
The Hyphy works very well with the Lovense Remote app, and it was effortless to connect, and after it made it much perfect for controlling the toy. With it, I could adjust how powerfully it vibrated, and if I wanted, I could make my own patterns or try the ones other people have made and uploaded.
The case is sturdy and high quality, so I was never worried it might break, and as I said, I think Lovense is fantastic for making it so I could charge the Hyphy while it was in it. The case is also nicely designed, so I’ll never misplace the two extra tips.
How big is the Hyphy?
The length of the toy is 8.5 inches, and the end that goes into a vagina for G-spot stimulation is 4.53 of that. That is also the thickest part of the Hyphy at 1.38 inches. The clit-vibrating tip is .24, and the narrowest the toy gets in the middle is 1.02 inches.
The toy weighs 125.4 grams, and it is made of ABS Plastic/Body-Safe Silicone, and it feels well-made and never feels too cold or hot however long I used it and or for how many hours I kept it in its storage case.
Charging the Hyphy
Lovense says you should fully charge the Hyphy’s Li-Ion Rechargeable battery for 75 minutes before playing with it. After it’s charged, you can use it for 310 minutes, or you can keep it ready on standby for 120 hours.
As I like to use a sextoy for a long time, I was first worried the battery would run out before I was done playing with the Hyphy. But after an hour and a half, it was going strong, so don’t think anyone should worry about it leaving you high and dry. Unless you maybe leave it running or something like that.
How the Hyphy is packaged
Like the case, the box Lovense used for the Hyphy is durable and looks good, as well. Though it has a special carrying case, the box is so attractive I felt I could use it to keep the Hyphy safe and clean.
The Hyphy comes with its case, a magnetic charging cable, those two additional tips for its clit-stimulating end, a quick setup guide, and the toy’s user manual. Everything about the toy and how to set it up with the Lovense Remote App is also on their website, which I think is great because it’s easier to read and would come in handy if I happen to lose the paper ones.
If something happens to the toy because it wasn’t built well, Lovense has a one-year warranty for it. But I’ve never had any problems with any of their sextoys, so I don’t think the Hyphy would ever be any different.
Using the Hyphy with the Lovense Remote App
I have an old PC computer that doesn’t have Bluetooth, so I prefer the version of the Lovense Remote App made for smartphones like my iPhone. But if you have a more updated PC or Apple desktop computer, you probably won’t have any problems installing or using it.
It looks like Lovense has made a lot of improvements to the Lovense Remote App. Getting it to work with one of their sextoys used to be a little difficult, but now when I opened the app and looked for my new Hyphy, it found the toy and connected to it without a hitch.
The app is now much more attractive and easier to use. It allowed me to change whatever I wanted about how intense the Hyphy vibrated, and I was able to make and keep whatever patterns I created. And if I wanted to, I could see what other users put together or send my own to a friend or share it so others so they can try it for themselves.
Another change to the app is now when you open it, your music is immediately available to work with the Hyphy or other Lovense toys to make them vibrate along with your favorite song.
If you have a sex partner who lives something else in the world, you can use the app to make their toy respond to whatever you do with your Hyphy or the same when they use with their Lovense sextoy. I did it with a friend who lives in England who has a Lovense Max 2, and it worked very well, though there was a little bit of a delay sometimes but not enough that we didn’t have a good time with both toys and each other.
Cleaning and maintaining the Hyphy
The Hyphy is easy to keep clean because of its attractive case. After you use it, you should always wash it with something like mild, antibacterial dish soap in warm water and use a lint-free cloth to dry it afterward.
Its silicone parts can get damaged if you use water that’s boiling hot or is from anything except your tub or shower.
As the Hyphy is IPX7 Waterproof, you don’t have to worry about wrecking it by cleaning or playing with it in your shower or bathtub. That’s how I like to use it, and had it never crossed my mind doing so would be bad for my Hyphy. I’m not sure about using it in a place like a pool, but since a hot tub or ocean is not recommended by companies like Lovense for silicone toys, I wouldn’t do it.

The verdict
I had a lot of fun with Lovense’s new Hyphy Dual-End High-Frequency Vibrator, which has changed my mind about clit-stimulating sextoys. And I do not think I’ll be buying any more of those types because the Hyphy has too much for them to try and compete with.
The motors are a great combination of power and intensity and ideal if you like using the clit end of the toy or the G-spot one. It’s comfortable to use though it may take getting used to when putting it on your clit as it can at first feel be quite strong. This happened to me, though, after a few minutes, I began enjoying it.
The Hyphy’s carrying case is something I wish other Lovense toys came with. It keeps the vibrator clean, stores the two extra attachments for its clit-play part, and also charges the Hyphy while it’s in it.
If you like g-spot and clit stimulation, there’s nothing quite like Lovense’s Hyphy vibrator, and like how much I loved playing with it, it might also change your mind about these types of sextoys, as well!
